Joy of communication with Sachi Kimura

This drama and movement improvisation workshop explores communication skills and stage presence. Through fun and playfully challenging exercises, the participants experience the joy of connecting with each other truthfully and comfortably. This workshop could also benefit to business communication between workers and presentation.


Story telling and movement with Sachi Kimura and Kristina Hjelm

Flying Eye’s starting point of making a show is often personal anecdotes because the real stories touch us.
Focusing on the element of the story, we lead and support the participants to create their own performance physicalising the elements they find. This workshop could combine with themes that suit your projects.


Discover the magic of light in live performance with Kristina Hjelm

(scaleable; 3 to 6 hours)
In this workshop you will be encouraged to explore how lighting can reinforce movement and storytelling on the stage. Through physical play with artificial light this workshop aims to let you think of lighting as a performer in its own right.


All workshops are designed to benefit anyone who are interested in exploring their own creativity and can be tailored to suit the general public, business companies through to professionally trained actors.

Maximum number of participants: 18

Sachi has 11 years experience in teaching drama/movement at the Actors Centre London, Met Film School and New National Theatre Tokyo, Japan.

Kristina is a regular visiting teacher of lighting design at Birkbeck University in London.
