Sachi Kimura – Artistic Director/ Director & Performer
Sachi trained at Shiki Theatre company (Japan), Ecole de Phillipe Gaulier (UK), and Scola Commedia Dell’arte (Italy). She has worked extensively, over the last 22 years, as a performer in theatre, films and TV in the UK, Europe and Japan. Collaborating companies include: Gecko, The Clod Ensemble, Fevered Sleep, Dreamthinkspeak, Unicorn Theatre, Obviam-Est and Yellow Earth Theatre.
Directing credits include: Starts Above the Sand (Dora company, Japan), (Rose Bruford School) and (Abingdon School).
She also teaches Acting in movement at The Actors Centre London, Met Film School and the New National Theatre, Japan.
Kristina Hjelm – Artistic Director / Lighting Designer
Kristina studied Lighting Design at Rose Bruford College (1998-2001) and has been awarded the Whitelight Bursary for her site-specific piece Peep Show which took place in a scrap yard in Greenwich. She designs for a wide range of performance styles from classical theatre to live art. Regular collaborating companies include: Royal Shakespeare Company, Chris Goode & Company, Cheek by Jowl, Fuel, Mkultra, Insite Performance, Yael Karavan and Gecko.
Sarah Crompton – Producer
Sarah studied Drama at Manchester University and began producing work during her time there. She is currently based in the East of England where she works as Producer at award-winning international theatre company, New International Encounter (NIE), Night Light Theatre Company (both Cambridge) and Flying Eye (Brighton).
Prior to this she worked with Hoipolloi Theatre (Cambridge) on their Hugh Hughes trilogy, Shatterbox (London) with ‘Fair Trade’ and Gecko Theatre (Ipswich) on their Edinburgh run of ‘The Overcoat’.
